Tangent: Macbeth – 31 July 6:30pm

Monday 31 July, Hetzel Lecture Theatre, State Library of South Australia. Join us for drinks and nibbles from 6pm before the discussion at 6:30pm.

Designers discuss the challenges and rewards of refreshing well-known classics such as Macbeth, A Doll’s House, Othello and more. Learn about the design process, how designers find inspiration and the relationship between designers and directors.

Speakers include set and costume designers Victoria Lamb (Macbeth, Othello) and Ailsa Paterson (A Doll’s House, The Seagull), hosted by State Theatre Company Artistic Director Geordie Brookman.

Hosted by State Library of South Australia, Tangent is your opportunity to engage with some of Australia’s finest theatre-makers and creative minds as they discuss the artistic process, go deeper into the themes and inspiration behind State Theatre Company productions and give a rare insight into the world behind the curtain.
