Women’s Networking Evening – 18 July, 5pm

Join us for an exclusive Women’s Networking evening before a performance of A Doll’s House, in support of Catherine House.

What: State Theatre Company’s adaptation of the timeless feminist masterpiece A Doll’s House opens this July, and we’re inviting you to join established and emerging business leaders for drinks and canapés at a women’s-only networking event before the performance.

Speakers will include Jodi Glass, two-time South Australian Finalist for Telstra Business Women’s Awards and State Theatre Company Executive Director/Producer, and Elena Carapetis, State Theatre Company Resident Artist, actor, playwright and adaptor of A Doll’s House.

At the event we will be raising funds so we can provide free theatre tickets to clients of Catherine House, a service for women experiencing homelessness.

Where: Regattas Bistro, Riverbank Promenade
(behind the Convention Centre, overlooking Torrens River)
When: Tuesday 18 July, 5:00pm- 6:00pm, followed by the performance at 6:30pm in Dunstan Playhouse
Cost: A Doll’s House performance ticket: $74 – in recognition of the gender pay gap, the networking event is on us!

A word from Catherine House’s Client Service Manager, Deidre Flynn:

“Life is precarious and an episode of homelessness could happen to any one of us, given a change in health, employment or relationship status, particularly for women with limited support networks.  The women at Catherine House very much enjoy being able to participate in community events that help them feel less isolated and part of society”.
