Tangent: End of the Rainbow - 13 May, 6pm
Judy Garland was one of Hollywood’s most beloved stars. But fame is a notoriously double-edged sword. Before we tear down the bright lights of Hollywood myth in End of the Rainbow we’ll be talking about the figure of the diva, why we worship them and the ways in which fame isn’t always what it’s cracked up to be.
Location: Bradley Forum, Level 5 of the Hawke Building on the City West campus, 50-55 North Terrace, Adelaide.
Time: Arrive at 5:30pm for light refreshments for a 6pm start. The talk will conclude at 7pm.
