Hosted by State Library of South Australia, Tangent is your opportunity to engage with some of Australia’s finest theatre-makers and creative minds as they discuss the artistic process, go deeper into the themes and inspiration behind State Theatre Company productions and give a rare insight into the world behind the curtain.

Who was Jane Austen? What did she write and why does it still matter? Become a Jane Austen buff before you see Kate Hamill’s sparkling adaptation of Sense and Sensibility with experts Gillian Dooley (Honorary Senior Research Fellow at Flinders University), Giselle Bastin (Associate Professor of English at Flinders University) and Eric Parisot (Lecturer in English at Flinders University).
