Get the story behind the story

Our Tangent Talks, presented in collaboration with the State Library South Australia, connect our artists with the audience to explore the big ideas behind our productions. We feature prominent voices from the creative, academic, and political spheres to delve into the themes of selected plays from our season.  Reserve your spot on our website for each event – click on the dates closer to the event to access booking links.

Dates for 2025 Tangent Talks are:

Housework – Monday 20 January
Kimberly Akimbo – Monday 2 June
Dear Son – Monday 16 June
The Glass Menagerie – Monday 20 October

Tickets are just $10 and include a glass of wine. Doors open at 5.30pm and the talk will begin at 6pm.

Talks are held at:
Hetzel Lecture Theatre
Institute Building, State Library of South Australia
North Terrace, Adelaide 5000

Panelist names and topics will be released a few weeks before each event.
