In the most difficult year for live performance in living memory, State Theatre Company South Australia has been a lynchpin of resilience in the local cultural sector.

Over the past 12 months, thanks to our donors and audiences, the Company has emerged as the largest direct employer of South Australian artists. We employed the full scope of artists and arts workers, we embarked on an innovative digital program, we were the first mainstage theatre company in Australia back on stage and our highly-skilled workshop teams produced sets and costumes from our highly-skilled workshop teams for several major productions around the nation.

Now, as South Australia begins to fully emerge from the COVID-19 crisis, we need your continued support to back our progress and growth because simply – we’re better with you. This has never been truer than today.
