A dark Australian comedy about an industrial town where the desert meets the sea. Two sisters, the last inhabitants of the once thriving community, defiantly refuse to leave their family homestead on the outskirts. The water pipe’s broken and there are snakes galore.
DRY is a dystopian western inspired by the resilient inhabitants of many Australian outback towns especially those of NW South Australia. This fierce and funny play exposes our relationship to the land, the First People, refugees and each other.
