“Being part of the Commissioning Collective affords us the unmitigated pleasure of being involved from the ground up, watching talented creative artists, write, design, compose, light, stage manage, direct and act in new work. It’s thrilling to be involved.”

Logan St
In 2026, the Commissioning Collective will support LOGAN ST, written by visionary Kaurna and Narungga theatre-maker Jacob Boehme.
Set in the backyard of an Adelaide mosque, Logan St follows the unlikely bond between Goolie, an Afghan cameleer and caretaker, and Dulcie, a young Aboriginal woman navigating life, loss and love on Kaurna Country. As war, racism, and bureaucracy close in, their connection, grounded in storytelling, cooking, and kinship, becomes an act of survival. This deeply moving, multi-layered work honours the strength of Boehme’s female ancestors, the legacy of the cameleers, and the spirit of resistance that lives on in this place we now call Adelaide.
Join Commissioning Collective now and donate to support an arrray of South Australian talent.
