There are a range of package types to choose from when subscribing to State Theatre Company South Australia, from our Standard Subscription Packages, to Under 30/Student Subscriptions, Teacher Subscriptions and Gold Subscriptions!

Gold Subscriptions
“Golds” are the only ticket holders invited to opening night shows and have the exclusive opportunity to schmooze at our pre- and post-show functions.
Gold subscriptions are strictly limited to 50 members so, book quickly to avoid missing out! All Gold subscription packages include a minimum $630 tax-deductible donation.

Gold Subscriptions can only be purchased by contacting us on 08 8415 5353 (10am – 4pm, Monday to Friday) or by completing the booking form in the brochure. If you have any questions or would like to learn more about Gold subscriptions send us an email.
Opening night performances are exclusive to Gold Subscribers and VIPs. The opening night dates for 2024 are:
- The Children: 7.30pm, Tuesday 6 February, Dunstan Playhouse
- Blue: 8pm, Tuesday 27 February, Scott Theatre
- Symphonie of the Bicycle: 7.30pm, Tuesday 14 May, Space Theatre
- Candide: 7.30pm, Thursday 23 May, Her Majesty’s Theatre
- The Questions: 7.30pm, Tuesday 30 July, Space Theatre
- Julia: 8pm, Saturday 17 August, Dunstan Playhouse
- The Puzzle: 7.30pm, Tuesday September, Dunstan Playhouse
- Jack Maggs: Tuesday 19 November, Dunstan Playhouse
Standard Subscription
A standard subscription will see you bundle plays to receive the best ticket prices. As a subscriber, you will get the best seats in the house at your preferred performances throughout the year.
Pick your shows and your dates and we’ll do the rest. Buckle up for a year of wonderful stories.
Teacher Subscription
Receive hours of certified professional development just for coming to the theatre!
Build your Teacher Subscription package online or tick the ‘teacher subscription’ box on the printed booking form and you will receive your professional development certificate at the end of the year.
A teacher subscription can range between 4-7 plays, but must include at least four of the 2024 State Educate shows.

Under 30 and Full Time Student Subscriptions
Change your world with stories and performances that speak to today. Our student prices are our most heavily subsidised, priced to open theatre to all full-time students, school-aged or tertiary. It’s part of our role in promoting the future of South Australian culture.
You’ll need to show proof of age or student ID at the theatre, when you book online or send a copy along with your booking form.
Seniors Card Subscriptions
Anyone over the age of 60 in South Australia can get a Seniors Card, and that gets you a tidy additional discount on subscriptions to State Theatre Company South Australia shows. And why not, you deserve it! Just select the Seniors Card discount type on the booking form or online and choose a senior subscription package. This discount is supported by the SA Government Office for Ageing Well, a proud partner of the Company.

Group Bookings
Book subscriptions or single play tickets with your group of friends and every tenth ticket is free! Group bookings cannot be made online and must be made in a single transaction.
